What is Pure Essence One n’ Only Prenatal Multiple?

There is nothing as sweet and wonderful as seeing your baby for the first time. Nothing compares to that first little cry, and the innate desire for your baby to begin feeding and bonding with you. This is all your baby knows how to do, and relies on you for all of its basic needs.

When unforeseen complications occur at delivery or after birth you begin questioning yourself and your pregnancy. Did I take my prenatal vitamin like I should of? Was I taking the right prenatal vitamin? Could I have done anything to prevent this?

Fortunately most things are out of your control, but taking the right prenatal vitamin is not. Pure Essence One n’ Only is an over the counter prenatal vitamin that offers you and your baby essential ingredients such as Vitamin A, C, E, D, folic acid, and iron. With the recommended serving of 1 tablet daily, One n’ Only provides a wide array of super food complexes and phyto-nutrients to help keep you and your baby healthy.

One n’ Only Prenatal Multiple also contains 100 mg of the high-quality ingredient Ginger Root in each serving. When morning sickness is at its peak, it’s hard to focus on anything else. Thankfully the combination of Ginger Root and B Vitamins helps lessen the effects of morning sickness, and the complications that can occur from it.

Pure Essence One n’ Only Prenatal Multiple Ingredients

•	Vitamin A, C, D, E, B1, B2, Niacin, Vitamin B6, Folate, Vitamin B12, Biotin, Pantothenic Acid, Calcium, Iron, Iodine, Magnesium, Zinc, Copper
•	Proprietary SuperFood Base, High ORAC Fruit Extracts, Proprietary Botanical Support Complex, Additional Nutrients and Cofactors, Additional Minerals and Trace Elements, Digestive Aids/Enzymes

Is Pure Essence One n’ Only Prenatal Multiple Your Best Option?

With so many supplements on the market, it’s hard to know which one is the right one for you. As a professional in the healthcare field, I do not hesitate to recommend supplements that have as many high-quality ingredients as possible. High-quality ingredients such as CoQ10, DHA, Choline, Inositol, and probiotics all provide you with amazing benefits, and help lower possible complications that can occur with pregnancy.

With so much on the line, you cannot afford to take chances. And speaking of affordability, it will cost you $0.61 a day to take One n’ Only Prenatal Multiple. This may seem pretty reasonable, until you discover that taking a high-quality supplement costs you about the same and offers you so many more benefits.

One other thing to note is that the calcium is far below the recommended daily amount. Calcium is very important for the development of your baby’s bones and teeth, and helps prevent complications such as osteoporosis in yourself too. When calcium levels are low, it is recommended that you take an additional calcium supplement.

You can do better, and should do better. Don’t leave your baby’s health up to chance. Remember that a healthy baby is a happy baby, so if you decide that One n’ Only Prenatal Multiple is not right for you, make sure you check out the top supplements on prenatalmultivitamins.org.

Contemplating pregnancy can be a scary and overwhelming thought, especially if you already have a few rug rats at home. Not only do you want to be physically fit before pregnancy occurs, but you also want to be nutritionally fit as well. That’s where your prenatal vitamin comes into play.

Mother to Be is an over the counter prenatal vitamin supplement that was created for both women who are trying to conceive and women who are currently pregnant. The recommended serving of Mother to Be is 3 tablets daily with or without food. In each serving you will find high amounts of folic acid, iron, Vitamin C, Vitamin D, and many B-Vitamins. You will also find the high-quality ingredient Ginger Root.

Did you know that almost 80% of women who become pregnant experience some sort of morning sickness during their pregnancy? Nausea and vomiting is never fun, but try encountering it every day for 3 to 4 months. That’s where Ginger Root can help you out.

Ginger Root is a high-quality ingredient that has been used for centuries to help alleviate nausea and vomiting. While you are pregnant, it is recommended that you consume no more than 1 gm per day. In Mother to Be there is 100 mg in each serving.

Mother to Be is not only lacking the recommended amount of calcium, but it is also lacking the high-quality ingredients CoQ10, DHA, Choline, Inositol, and it does not have any probiotics.

Calcium is very important for the development of your baby’s teeth and bones. When there is not enough calcium circulating in your body, your placenta will extract it from your own bones to ensure that there is enough. This not only puts you at risk of developing osteoporosis, but it could cause problems in your baby as well.

Mother to Be by Pure Essence Labs Ingredients

•	Vitamin A, Vitamin C, Vitamin D3, Vitamin E, Vitamin B1, Vitamin B2, Niacin, Vitamin B6, Folate, Vitamin B12, Biotin, Pantothenic Acid, Calcium, Iron, Iodine, Magnesium, Zinc, Copper, Potassium, Silica, Manganese, Boron, Selenium, Chromium, Molybdenum, Vanadium
•	Super Foods Complex, Herbal Extracts, Co-Nutrients, Bioflavonoids, Digestive Enzymes, Phytonutrient Complex

Is Mother to Be Recommended?

On a 0 to 10 scale with 10 being the highest, I would rank Mother to Be a 5. Sure it contains many essential ingredients, but so do most other prenatal vitamins on the market. What you want is a supplement that screams Wow!! And that doesn’t mean that the price has to be outrageous to include high-quality ingredients.

There are many reasonably priced top tier supplements on the market that will offer everything you need to have the healthiest pregnancy possible.

As a RN in the OB/GYN field, I am here to say that you can do better. With so much at risk, taking chances is not an option. If you want the amazing benefits that come from taking a high-quality prenatal vitamin, you have to be willing to take one. So, if you decide that Mother to Be is not right for you, make sure you check out the top supplements on prenatalmultivitamins.org.

The Role of Probiotics in Your Pregnancy

Whether you like it or not, your stomach has plenty of bacteria. Of course, you can control whether that bacteria is good or not, but it’s there. If you have enough probiotics—the good bacteria in your stomach—while you’re pregnant, it will create a much healthier atmosphere and boost your overall health.

Sources of Probiotics

Take a look at your current prenatal vitamin, if you have one. Does it list any lactobacillus or Probiotic blends? If not, you should throw it out ASAP. To have a truly safe pregnancy you should have at least a billion CFU of probiotics in your diet each day. That seems like a ton, right? Well, it shouldn’t be that hard to do if you have a prenatal multivitamin such as Trimedisyn that gives you all the probiotics you will need.

You can also find probiotics in yogurt. Those live cultures are very healthy for stomach health. While you are pregnant, you need a good probiotic blend that can reduce the inflammation in your stomach.

The Effect of Probiotics on Birth Defects

A study done in Norway on over 30,000 women tested the effect of probiotics on preeclampsia, a birth defect that results in tens of thousands of deaths each year. By taking a milk-based product with lactobacillus in it, the women experienced less preeclampsia overall, at least 20% less. I’d say if you could reduce the prominence of preeclampsia by even 5% that you would be better off overall. You want to be healthy and you want your baby to be born without complications, so remember to only take a prenatal multivitamin with plenty of probiotics for that extra boost in health.

What Is Nexa Select Prenatal?

What if you had to swim around in a tank at the aquarium all day waiting for your food, even when you were hungry? In a way, your child is in a similar situation, whether pre-birth or after. When you have to take a prenatal vitamin, there are lots to choose from. You have ones that you only take once a day, and some that require you to take six. So which ones are better for you and your baby? Prenatal vitamins that have all the requirements in one vitamin per day are not as good, since your body has a much harder time absorbing all the ingredients at once. When you take one in the morning, one mid-afternoon, and one in the evening, your baby is getting the required nutrients. It is like when you eat breakfast, lunch, and dinner. You wouldn’t want to eat all your food for the day at lunch. For one thing, you’d be so full you probably couldn’t move. But the other reason is so that you get nutrients throughout the day, something your body can and will handle really well.

So, how does Nexa Select Prenatal factor into all of this? It might be a prescription prenatal vitamin, and have some really great vitamins, minerals, and high-quality ingredients, but Nexa Select Prenatal is a one per day supplement. Even with 1.25 mg of Folic Acid, your baby might end up only getting 600 mcg of it because of the issues it will have with absorption.

One of the most interesting ingredients in Nexa Select Prenatal is the Docusate Sodium. Something that is not required for pregnancy, Docusate Sodium can soften your stool so that you are not always uncomfortable. It’s a brilliant addition, but it shouldn’t take the place of many of the required ingredients for your pregnancy, including Probiotics and CoQ10. With many missing ingredients, Nexa Select Prenatal could be detrimental to your pregnancy. After all, there are only seven vitamins and minerals and one high-quality ingredient, DHA, in the whole formula.

I am quite impressed with the amount of Vitamin D3 in Nexa Select Prenatal. The recommended amount is only 400 IU, but Nexa Select Prenatal gives you 800 IU. This vitamin goes hand and hand with the Calcium to help your child’s bones and muscles get strong.

Nexa Select Prenatal Ingredients

Vitamin C, Calcium, Iron, Vitamin D3, Vitamin E, Vitamin B6, Folic Acid, DHA, Docusate Sodium

Inactive Ingredients:Ethyl vanillin, FD&C Yellow #6, FD&C Red #40, FD&C Blue #a, Gelatin, Glycerin, Lecithin, Soybean oil, Titanium dioxide, Yellow beeswax, Water, White ink

Is Nexa Select Prenatal Your Best Option?

With literally hundreds of prenatal vitamins to choose from, Nexa Select Prenatal is not your best choice. You have to be conscious of your child’s dietary needs when you are pregnant, and Nexa Select Prenatal doesn’t come close to meeting many of those needs. The top 2 prenatal multivitamins are really your best options for the right ingredients in the right amounts. Since Nexa Select Prenatal doesn’t give you any Vitamin A, any infection could take a toll on your child’s life. Be wise as you choose your prenatal vitamin.

What Is BrainStrong Prenatal?

If this is your first pregnancy, a lot of questions are probably whizzing through your mind every day. One question might even be: Why are there so many prenatal vitamins to choose from? Unfortunately, I don’t even know why so many companies make prenatal vitamins. Very few are exactly alike, but they should be. Very few have all the recommended ingredients, but they all should. Very few cover a lot of your inadequacies, but they all should. Even BrainStrong Prenatal isn’t perfect, but it has a few strong points.

The most notable distinction between BrainStrong Prenatal and many other prenatal vitamins is that it has DHA. It even has a high amount of DHA, 350 mg. It’s obviously fitting that BrainStrong Prenatal was probably named because of the DHA it has. DHA is a nutrient that provides your baby’s brain and eyes with the tools they need to develop properly.

The other important ingredients that come in BrainStrong Prenatal’s formula are 20 vitamins and minerals. Even though not all of them are going to cover your dietary needs for this pregnancy, you are probably eating a healthy diet too. Many of the inadequacies in a prenatal vitamin can often be covered by the food you eat.

Does BrainStrong Prenatal Contain Necessary Nutrients?

Any prenatal vitamin without necessary nutrients wouldn’t be able to sell its product. So, BrainStrong Prenatal obviously has a few necessary nutrients. Starting with the vitamins and minerals, there is Folate, Iron, and Calcium. Folate, or Folic Acid, is important because it lowers the risk for neural tube defects. If your baby is born with a neural tube defect, it could be stuck in a wheelchair its whole life, depending on the severity of it. It’s obvious that you want your baby to grow up with freedom to move around, not sitting all day in a wheelchair. Iron’s significance is due to your increased amount of blood. You’re going to need more red blood cells, and Iron is just the ticket. With Calcium, your child’s bones and muscles grow strong so when it is born, it isn’t weak. My cousin was born with a bone disease, so he has been in a wheelchair his whole life. He had to deal with broken bones all the time growing up.

BrainStrong Prenatal Ingredients

Vitamin A, Vitamin C, Vitamin D3, Vitamin E, Thiamin, Riboflavin, Niacin, Vitamin B6, Folate, Vitamin B12, Biotin, Pantothenic Acid, Calcium, Iron, Phosphorus, Iodine, Magnesium, Zinc, Copper, Chromium, DHA

Is BrainStrong Prenatal Your Best Option?

BrainStrong Prenatal might just be your best option when it comes to DHA. However, there are more important ingredients to factor into your diet, and BrainStrong Prenatal can’t give them all to you. There are four high-quality ingredients that don’t show up in BrainStrong Prenatal, namely CoQ10, Choline, Inositol, and Probiotics. The top 2 prenatal multivitamins are your best choice in terms of all the ingredients that you need. Because BrainStrong Prenatal has its own deficiencies, it cannot be counted on to give you everything your baby needs, obviously.

What Is VitaMed MD Complete Prenatal Multivitamin?

Showing up to a kid’s birthday party without a present is like a prenatal vitamin being sold without all the right ingredients. Either way, the full effect is not there and chaos could ensue. Especially at the birthday party. Believe me. The reasons for taking prenatal vitamins come down to prevention of complications and defects and healthy development of your baby. If you are taking a prenatal vitamin just because your doctor “said so”, you need to rethink your strategy and learn exactly what you’re putting into your body. I guess you could say there are some good reasons to take VitaMed MD Complete Prenatal Multivitamin.

For starters, VitaMed MD Complete Prenatal Multivitamin is packed with a lot of Folic Acid (975 mcg) and Iron (30 mg). These two ingredients are probably the most important ones for pregnancy because without them things could get ugly. Another reason for taking VitaMed MD Complete Prenatal Multivitamin might be because the tablets taste better than a regular prenatal vitamin and they easily go down your throat since they are small. Furthermore, Vegans and vegetarians alike would be happy to know that VitaMed MD Complete Prenatal Multivitamin is Vegan certified.

Does VitaMed MD Complete Prenatal Multivitamin Offer All You Need?

VitaMed MD Complete Prenatal Multivitamin has 18 vitamins and minerals, what more do you want? Actually, there are other ingredients that are not in the formula like Probiotics and DHA. Even Vitamin A is somehow missing from the formula. So what is wrong with a prenatal vitamin that is missing some ingredients here and there? The problem is that your baby and you demand so much and normally only your prenatal vitamin can cover a lot of those needs. Not even the food you eat every day can make up for some ingredients like Choline or CoQ10. Even while VitaMed MD Complete Prenatal Multivitamin has less Calcium than required, it is likely that you are getting a lot of Calcium from your everyday food.

VitaMed MD Complete Prenatal Multivitamin Ingredients

Vitamin C, Vitamin D2, Vitamin E, Vitamin B1, Vitamin B2, Vitamin B3, Vitamin B6, Folic Acid, Vitamin B12, Biotin, Pantothenic Acid, Calcium, Iron, Zinc, Selenium, Copper, Manganese, Molybdenum

Is VitaMed MD Complete Prenatal Multivitamin Your Best Option?

Compared to other similar prenatal vitamins, VitaMed MD Complete Prenatal Multivitamin is pretty normal. Most prenatal vitamins are missing ingredients that are important to have during pregnancy. But why would we want to be just normal? If there were a prenatal vitamin that had every single ingredient you needed, do you think that you would like to know about it. Well, there are at least two such prenatal vitamins known as the top 2 prenatal multivitamins. Believe me, once you know there is a great prenatal vitamin that can address every single pregnancy need, its going to be hard to forget about it. Actually, it might be like a kid’s birthday party again, but this time you have a present. The child that gets that gift from you will never forget how generous you were.

Ooh, is that Chicken Parmesan? I can’t wait to try it! So you have the bread crumbs, eggs, vegetables, mozzarella, spaghetti sauce, and spices. Okay, but where’s your chicken, parmesan, and spaghetti noodles? Come on, those are some of the most important ingredients in this dish! How did you forget them? If you actually made Chicken Parmesan without three major ingredients, don’t you think your family would notice? I know I would. So, when you take a prenatal vitamin that is missing even three important ingredients, don’t you think your babies developing body will notice? I believe so.

With Easy2 Swallow Pre-Natal Multi Vitamin Formula, you might think that all the important ingredients are there, but you are a little off. In fact, three of the MOST important ingredients are MIA, so you really shouldn’t make this your go-to prenatal vitamin. It’s really just like eating Chicken Parmesan without the chicken, parmesan, and spaghetti noodles. Without them, you can’t really call it Chicken Parmesan. It would be more like Vegetable Cheese Soup. A prenatal vitamin should not be called a prenatal vitamin without its own three most important ingredients.

One of the most amazing things about Easy2 Swallow Pre-Natal Multi Vitamin Formula is that it has Ginger. A common problem among pregnant women is that they are nauseous a lot throughout the first few months. A little Ginger in your prenatal vitamin could make things much better. In fact, even the Vitamin B6 could help out in this regard.

Easy2 Swallow Pre-Natal Multi Vitamin Formula Ingredients

Vitamin A, Vitamin C, Vitamin D, Vitamin E, Vitamin B1, Vitamin B2, Vitamin B3, Vitamin B6, Folic Acid, Vitamin B12, Biotin, Pantothenic Acid, Calcium, Iron, Iodine, Magnesium, Zinc, Selenium, Copper, Manganese, Chromium, Molybdenum, Potassium, Cranberry Fruit Powder, Choline, Ginger Rhizome Powder, Inositol

Is Easy2 Swallow Pre-Natal Multi Vitamin Formula Your Best Option?

Although it’s a dramatic example, the Chicken Parmesan is meant to demonstrate that prenatal vitamin ingredients are all important and should not be left out of any prenatal vitamin. Just by glancing at the label of Easy2 Swallow Pre-Natal Multi Vitamin Formula, it would seem like it is a great prenatal vitamin. But once you start to dig deeper, you understand that without Probiotics, CoQ10, and DHA, it is not really complete. The top 2 prenatal multivitamins have everything to offer, so it’s a wonder why pregnant women are still purchasing prenatal vitamins that aren’t fulfilling their baby’s needs. Actually, there are probably a few reasons:

They are cheap

They seem to have all the right ingredients

They might taste better or be easier to swallow

Well, now that you know that missing ingredients are a major problem, you can start making the right choices about your prenatal vitamin in the future. Don’t wait until this pregnancy is over to start taking a new, better prenatal vitamin! It’s never too late to switch, and your baby will be thanking you when you do.

What is ProViQ?

ProViQ is a prenatal vitamin that can be taken before, during, and after pregnancy. Some of ProViQ’s most powerful ingredients, especially folic acid, can do the most for you and your baby if taken before, and during, the earliest stages of pregnancy.

What ingredients are included in ProViQ?

ProViQ doesn’t skimp on quality ingredients, so this list might get a little long. Don’t fall asleep! There are plenty of exciting health benefits contained in each one of these nutritious gems. Starting off the list is a blend of vitamins, including vitamin A, vitamin C, vitamin D3, vitamin E, vitamin B1, vitamin B2, vitamin B3, vitamin B6, and vitamin B12. Next up are minerals and nutrients like folic acid, biotin, pantothenic acid, calcium, iron, iodine, magnesium aspartate, zinc, selenium, copper, manganese, chromax, and potassium. If you thought we were done, hold on for the grand finale here – the pièce de résistance of ProViQ is a blend of the highest quality ingredients on the prenatal market, including ginger, 1 billion CFU probiotic blend, DHA, choline, inositol, CoQ10, and Bioperine.

Is ProViQ easy to use?

Relatively so. To get your daily dose of ProViQ, you need to take two capsules. Personally, I much prefer capsules to tablets or chewables. Especially during pregnancy, when everything makes me nauseous, capsules are really the only thing that I can swallow. Luckily, capsules are also the best thing for you. Capsules are easy for your body to break down, or, if you really struggle with swallowing pills, can always be opened and the contents dissolved in food or beverages.

Overall rating of ProViQ

Overall, ProViQ definitely competes with the top prenatal vitamins on the market. At $39.95 a bottle, it offers a competitive price as well. Not only that, discounts are offered for multiple bottle purchases – three bottles for $99.95, six bottles for $149.95, and nine bottles for $199.95.

ProViQ’s high rating comes from its stellar list of ingredients, but its true value comes from the winning combination of quality and affordability. ProViQ keeps its doses a bit low on some of the more expensive ingredients to keep the product affordable. You can check out http://www.prenatalmultivitamins.org/trimedisyn/ if you want a prenatal vitamin with the same quality ingredients, with higher quantities. If you are looking for the best prenatal vitamin for a lower price though, I recommend ProViQ with two thumbs up!

What Is Vitafol-Ob Caplets?

With all the option for prenatal multivitamins on the market it can be hard to decide which is the best one for your baby. As a new mom you want everything to be perfect for your little one. So how do you make the decision between prescription and over-the-counter, 20 mg of iron or 27 mg of iron? The first place to start is by looking at high quality ingredients to decide exactly what is important to you. Vitafol-Ob Caplets are prescription prenatal vitamins. They are supposed to be the smallest and easiest to swallow prescription vitamins which may push you in the direction of using them.

It seems, however, that prescription prenatal multivitamins are relying entirely on the fact that many women will be under the impression that simply because a vitamin says prescription it is better than the other vitamins on the market. With so many incredible formulas there is no way that prescription products are keeping up with the over-the-counter multivitamins. Vitafol-Ob Caplets falls short of being one of the top prenatal vitamins. It does contain the required amounts of iron and has prescription strength folic acid. But it doesn’t have any other notable ingredients that can take it from an ordinary to an extraordinary prenatal vitamin.

We are also questioning why so many of the prescription prenatal vitamins are misleading. They advertise to be complete prenatal vitamins and yet the vast majority of them are severely lacking in calcium. Vitafol-Ob Caplets contains only 10% of the required calcium during pregnancy. And since most women who are taking a supplement with 100% of the recommended calcium it’s pretty concerning that they have so little. Especially in the last trimester your baby’s skeleton is changing and growing so much that it needs much more calcium than you can imagine. Having a few glasses of milk will not be enough to help your baby develop a strong skeleton.

Vitafol-Ob Caplets Ingredients

Vitamin A, Vitamin C, Vitamin D, Vitamin E, Folic acid, Vitamin B1, Vitamin B2, Vitamin B6, Vitamin B12, Niacin, Calcium, Iron, Zinc, Magnesium, Copper

Is Vitafol-Ob Caplets Your Best Option?

Vitafol-Ob Caplets seem at first glance like they are a good option. They are easy to swallow and contain folic acid and iron in the required amounts. Further, they do not contain toxic levels of either Vitamin A or iron so your new baby will be safe from Vitamin A toxicity. But with all these benefits Vitafol-Ob Caplets is still lagging behind other prenatal multivitamins. They have not included DHA which means that there is really nothing to support your baby’s brain and eye development. And babies who have received adequate DHA have also been shown to perform better in memory and cognition tests and may be able to learn skills faster than others. Vitafol-Ob Caplets could also use a probiotic blend. By including probiotics you would be able to get more out of your prenatal multivitamin since your body would be able to absorb the nutrients better. Vitafol-Ob Caplets has many good qualities but it is not at the top of the market. Since your baby’s health is so important you may want to look for products that include everything to provide your baby with the best start to life.
